Medical Device and Software Application

PROJECT
Ceribell

SUMMARY
To design a series of user-friendly applications for diagnostics that enable fast, accurate detection of status epilepticus across multiple devices, including mobile, tablet, desktop, and dedicated medical devices.

PROCESS
I worked with the client to design intuitive applications by applying the following processes:

  • Design Systems: Developed a unified system to ensure consistency across platforms.
  • User Research: Conducted research with healthcare professionals to understand their needs in emergency settings.
  • Wireframing: Created wireframes focused on efficiency and ease of use.
  • Visual Design: Designed clear, legible interfaces optimized for fast decision-making.
  • Prototyping: Built interactive prototypes for feedback and iteration.
  • User Testing: Conducted usability tests with medical staff to refine the design.

The applications provided a seamless, consistent experience across all devices, enabling healthcare professionals to quickly diagnose and respond to status epilepticus, improving response times and patient outcomes.
